JetBlue Complaint - Cancelled Ticket
MELBOURNE, FLORIDA -- JetBlue should be ashamed of themselves!
I purchased a ticket for a friend of mine on July 28th, through their website. I had previously flown with them and loved the amenities that this airline offered, including the low ticket prices. After purchasing the ticket and receiving my confirmation code, I closed my browser, and never once checked back on Jetblue's website.
On the day my friend was to leave, I drove 70 miles to the airport, and dropped him off so he could take his direct flight to Portland Maine.
Halfway home, he calls me saying that someone cancelled his ticket the day after we booked it over the internet. JetBlue claims that someone logged into their website and cancelled the ticket and accepted the $100 cancellation fee, and the remaining balance was put into a Jetblue account to use at a later date. I never cancelled this flight, nor did anyone in my household cancel this flight. However, JetBlue was insistent that someone, either me or my friend, logged onto their website and cancelled it. My friend was stuck at the airport for 6 hours arguing with customer service over the cancelled ticket. The only thing they said we could do about it, was to rebook another ticket, and pay an additional $400 to have him fly out that day.
I am outraged over this, and never will I fly with JetBlue again.
