Al Capuccino's Pizza in Washington DC Complaint - Avoid Eating Here - Poor Food and Customer Service

Review by DC-Food-Critic on 2008-08-24
WASHINGTON, DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA -- POOR QUALITY & POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

I placed a take out order of the chicken tenders, they arrived burnt and overly breaded delivered by the Mgr. I called and complained and requested resolution. I have been a frequent customer. The Mgr said that they have received other complaints and that "he was a victim too." How he was a victim after taking my money for poor quality food without compensation - I did not understand. I told him he should switch suppliers or remove the item from the menu if he knew that the quality was bad. He stated he called the Owner and the owner said "there is nothing he can do." The Owner said this - can you believe it!!! Just be aware that Al's is no longer in the business of customer satisfaction and quality food but passing poor quality food to it customers to save a buck regardless of the impact on its reputation.

Be CAUTIOUS when ordering delivery and do not pay until you check your food. I will NEVER order from them again and strongly advise others not too as well.

I order chicken tenders from pizza places all the time and never have had a problem madconsumer. Sounds like Al Capuccino's Pizza needs to find a new vendor and make sure they don't send out crappy food!
