Dish Network Complaint - Worst Installation Team - Damages Filed/Worst Customer Support
WESTMONT, ILLINOIS -- They have a sales team that will promise you everything and a new wife. They have an installation team that will not even read your landlord's dish installation policy. Yet they will drill a 6-inch hole in the wall in direct violation of said policy. When the installation guy gave me more trouble and I called Dish, he started swearing at me in Russian!!! Then he uninstalled the Dish in a hurry, littered my yard and walked away cussing! When I called Dish to cancel everything, they spoke to me most condescendingly. One associate even noted on the account that he couldn't hear me over the static on the line and so he had to disconnect the call!!! This after I spoke to him for over 30 minutes!! I guess he didn't expect me to call back and ask what was written on the account.
I'm glad I am with AT&T Uverse now. They have amazing customer service and excellent cable TV. I had had DirectTV before and it was great dealing with them too.
Go with Dish only if you want to spend a good deal of time listening to elevator music waiting for customer support! Worst all-round experience ever! DON"T GO WITH DISH TV! DIRECTV/ATT/Verizon are better options.
