British Airways Complaint - BA Crushed My Guitar And Won't Pay For It!
LAX, CALIFORNIA -- On May of 2008 I flew from London to LAX. My classical touring guitar & case was crushed but the BA counter was closed. I went home, called their 800 number, and was told to file a claim online, which I did. 6 weeks later I get an email saying they will contact me. 4 weeks later I get a list from [snip] with instructions of documents to fax, which I followed. 5 weeks later [snip] emails me to say I need to get a property irregularity number from the BA people at LAX. I make several trips to the BA counter at LAX. They say the online claim number is all I need and won't give me a property irregularity form/number.
IT IS AUGUST AND THEY STILL HAVE NOT PAID FOR MY GUITAR! DON'T EVER USE THIS AIRLINE IF YOU TRAVEL WITH INSTRUMENTS!
