J.P. Morgan - Chase Banking Complaint - Removing A "Hold"
I receive unemployment payments through Arizona via a debit/credit card from Chase Bank. Everything has been ok until this month. On August 27, 2008 I made 2 online secured payments. These payments were both processed. The money was sent to the companies. Case Bank took but a hold on my account for the same amounts. In effect creating a "double payment". When in formed of this mistake they said: "There is nothing we can do. There is a hold from the companies for that amount." I asked them: How can there be a hold when the transactions have already been completed? The money has been taken from my account, the bills have been paid. The companies even told Chase Bank that they had no holds on my account.
This error was totally on the part of Chase Banking. They have "stolen $50.00 of my money and they claim there is nothing they can do.
