Comcast Corporation Complaint - They Are Getting Greedier And Greedier!
SILVER SPRING, MARYLAND -- I am a property manager from an apartment community in Montgomery County, Maryland.
In our business, the apartment manager's typically receive referral fee or promo package to compensate for the promoting of their product, (ie: newsletters, move in orientations and alike).
Comcast is the worst media company I have ever had to deal with, in my 25 years of property management.
They are sooooo cheap!
We managers in Montgomery County, get a lousy $12.99 credit a month, on a $150.00 monthly bill. It only covers the taxes. No breaks on packages or upgrades at all. I have investigated and it has nothing to do with laws, guidelines or kickback concerns. Referrals are legal.
I see things firsthand many of the customers do not. So I am hear to tell you all. It's not in your head. They are terrible and should be shut down for blatant FCC violations.
They regularly , mislead the tenants. Comcast does not repair their own equipment, leaving it dilapidated for months. In turn, causing their own outages, then blaming the customers, saying it's human error on the customer's side. Then charging for a service call.
They cause their own problems and create major conveniences for their poor customer/my tenants.
Again, they create hazards while on the communities, (ie: hanging wires, exposed equipment, backing up trucks into sidewalks, and cars), as well as, allowing their own eqpt. to stay exposed to the elements and not service when called in.
We have an exposed wire that I have been calling on for 5 years. Yes, yes 5 years ! ! ! !
When a resident calls for service or an outage they will dismiss their call as an outage, "Until three more of their apartment neighbors complain".
That was the exact words told to a tenant/customer. Now if I call to tell them I am calling on behalf of 280 households they don't care, "Because it's still just one phone call." How ludicrous!
All other media companies generously give referrals and tokens to apartment and condo managers. But NOT Comcast.
They are so cheap. I had an error on my account, the correction had to go through five people in Comcast Mgmt., before an adjustment is made. So apt./condo manager's live under this big cloud of suspect that we are ripping off Comcast. We must be prepared to defend ourselves for any irregularity no matter how small. It took 5 months before they finally took care of it and then they blamed me.
Heaven help me if I make the adjustment myself and deduct it from the bill. I'll get a cut off notice for a pea-picking $5.00.
I have seen their own sales-people pay out of pocket to promote at a pool party. Comcast refused to let the poor guy give away "The Slowsky's" keychains. Why were they holding onto them for, if not for promo giveaways?
Oh brother! They were made form plastic, not gold!
One more,. I was given a coupon for a free movie, after they screwed up on my account, for the 100th time. It took 6 months to be authorized when I used it.
Their greed is hugely apparent. They are an embarrassment to American corporate businesses, for sure!!!!
I've said my peace.
Everyone let us rebel against this greed driven company, Comcast, and let the masses be heard!
