Best Buy Complaint - Geek Squad Customer Service
TYLER, TEXAS -- I bought a Toshiba Satellite Laptop back in February, which I am STILL unable to use. The hard drive has been replaced, the power cord plug in has been replaced (both malfunctioned) and it has been system restored uncountable times, as well as completely recovered using the recovery CD as least twice.
The computer STILL doesn't work properly. It often freezes when I turn it on, and my internet card will not even work on the right side. Now, I can't even do system restore because the function doesn't work on my computer. When I store information, it doesn't even show up at all later, as if I never saved the files at all.
Best Buy said that the computer has to have 3 repaired hardware problems, with a 4th under investigation before it will even consider replacing the computer. ARE YOU KIDDING ME???? I can't use my computer. They also say that they as long as the computer is repairable, no matter how many times it malfuntions, they will just repair it under warranty. WHAT? So if my computer crashes every week for a year, you'll just restore it, deleting all of my saved files, my hard work, and my time. NEVER EVER buy anything from Best Buy because you will not have satisfactory results if the product is defective.
I have tried and tried to resolve this issue, but they won't even listen to me. They WILL NOT look at the problem individually, but they will treat you as though YOU yourself are the product...and a problem. I WILL NEVER buy anything from Best Buy again - THEY DO NOT BACK UP THEIR PRODUCTS.
