Weight Watchers International Complaint - Weight Watchers Customer Service Complaint

I contacted Weight Watchers Customer Service on August 25, 2008, to report that an electronic food scale I had purchased on August 5, 2007, but had used only a few times had malfunctioned. This product cost me 50 bucks, and I certainly did not get my money's worth. They informed me that the product was outside the warranty--which was true. However, I think if I were in business, I would not be such a stickler to a warranty date if the product was reported within the month of the warranty expiration.

Maybe I'm naive, but at any rate, my machine had failed prior to this date, I was just late in reporting it. Weight Watchers is within their legal rights--true. But beware, they do not allow any grace period for their services. I was totally disgruntled with their service and I do not plan to purchase any more of their items. I also will be sure that all my Weight Watcher friends are informed as well as anyone else I can tell about this treatment.

By the way, I am a member of their online program, and they have been collecting revenue monthly from me for a long time (at least a year, maybe longer).

try going to a local store to purchase one. there are many different stores that specialize in kitchen products. a digital scale will cost about the same, but you will be dealing with someone local.
