Paul Duenas Construction Complaint - Beware Of Poor Workmanship - Contractor Recommended By Namco Pools
FALL RIVER, MASSACHUSETTS -- This is to advise you that Paul Duenas Construction has failed to comply with the terms and conditions of his own contract and had provided poor quality workmanship which resulted in the issues noted below.
Paul Duenas Construction was recommended by Namco and hired to install a pool that was purchased from Namco. Date of first installation was 6/26/07. Due to poor contractor conduct and mistakes, several attempts at installation were made between 6/26/07 and 7/20/07.
Section one of the pool installation contract.
Site was not leveled sufficiently.
Not enough mason sand was used for the base of the pool.
8x8 patio blocks were not installed on one side of the pool.
Note: After installation, contractor left a 25x15 swimming pool liner and an oval 25x15 swimming pool wall on the property.
Due to on-going poor workmanship over multiple attempted installations of the swimming pool the following problems are now a direct result of the contractors deficient performance:
Support legs that sit under swimming pool are coming up through the liner. This is a result of imprecise leveling and back-filling of ground.
Pool liner is creased and stretched on one side of the pool and top rails are dented and not hinged property to pool wall. This is a result of inaccurate measurement and balance of swimming pool upon installation which resulted in the entire pool being off-center.
During one of the many attempted installations the pool had to be taken apart. All sections of the pool including rails, wall, liner, screws, nuts and bolts were simply thrown around in the yard and then sat there for two days in the rain. Upon re-installation, these items were simply picked up off the ground and put together in the poor condition they were in.
Paul Duenas Constructions has been contacted three times by the Better Business Bureau and has failed to respond.
