Redland Liberty Service Center Complaint - Over Charged and Awful Work

DERWOOD, MARYLAND -- Almost burned twice. When we took one of our cars in for a simple oil change, we picked up the car and it suddenly rattled and choked as if it was ready to die on the road. The car was fine when we took it in. After returning the car, they never admitted wrong doing. They proceeded to tell us how they had made over $175 in repairs for free. The car wasn't broken until they "fixed" it.

In an emergency, we stopped by when another car was smoking. I asked for a call with an estimate. Following up, the General Manager said he didn't know the name of the hose he'd ordered from Toyota, but it would take 2 men to repair and would cost $200 to repair. Toyota said it was a radiator hose, and estimated the repair at almost $75 less.

When using this station, definitely get an estimate and a second opinion before proceeding with work.
