Orbitz Complaint - Date Changes & Scams
I booked a trip on Orbitz 2 days ago. I was a bit hurried because the website stated their were only 2 airline seats available for the current price we were booking. We thought we were getting six nights, not five. I quickly realized the mistake after filing and noticed that the flight on the date we wanted was still available for the same price. I called Orbitz to switch the error. I was transferred 5 times, put on hold for 35 minutes and then yelled at! They told me it would be several hundred dollars to switch our flight one day earlier even though we booked this trip 6 months in advance!!! I will NEVER use this company again. The customer service "manager" was so rude I felt like hanging up on her but she probably would have liked that...GOD FORBID she had to do her job!! Oh and I checked today it still says "only 2 seats available for this price" THAT'S CLEARLY A SCAM AND LIE THEY USE TO GET YOU TO BOOK QUICKLY WITHOUT THINKING THINGS THROUGH!!! The CEO should be arrested!
