Charter Communications Complaint - Run As Fast As You Can
I am a former customer of another satellite company. Their contract ran out I decided to go with Charter for price. Had them for 6 months, when they installed I paid the "first" months bill. Last week at 8:30pm at night (dark) a contractor comes to my home to collect on a bill. I explain I have no bill must be a mistake some 4 weeks earlier some chick with a heavy "India" accent turned off my cable by the flick of a switch she said was for non payment yet I PRODUCED two confirmation numbers for the double payment in July. Any way this person was at my home to "either collect monies or disconnect" service. For a $200.00 dollar bill After trying to explain there must be a mistake he became belligerent and started to yell at me. I have a 20- month old puppy that I told him could get out the doggie door before I could get to him. He told me he has a knife in his truck to kill me and my dog. He went to his truck to retrieve "something" I slammed the door and called the police. He jumped my fence (breaking it ) and cut cables in the back (some not belonging to Charter)and sped off.
When I contacted Charter I found out my bill was $6.38 He did all that DRAMA for $6.38. I have a police report, confirmation numbers, and employee notes and employee ID numbers to back me up. But when I contacted them I was told I am wrong a liar. RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!
