Home Depot Compliment - Sticking me with defective Trane HVAC
My husband and I purchased a Trane HVAC from Home Depot (they contracted out through Advantage Air in Port St. Lucie, FL.) on July 14th 2008. We have had nothing but problems since... it has been leaking for over two months... it came with two defective parts. The A/C company has been out to our home over five times and Home depot has been out two times. We have water damage and mold as a result of the unit leaking.
Frankly we expected more from Home Depot,we have been good customers for many years. They said they would fix the damaged areas only if we keep the Trane unit (why would we want to keep a defective HVAC).
It is very hard getting to the right people since no one at Home Depot will give out the names, addresses and phone numbers of the service execs over the state of Fl. I would also like to send photos and a letter to Mr. Blake the CEO of Home Depot. What they are doing to us is wrong and we need help.
