Adbrite.com Complaint - Click Fraud
SAN FRANCISCO -- I stopped advertising with Adbrite in March 2008 because I noticed that I never received any sales of my products when I advertised with Adbrite. A few days ago July 27, 2008, I decided to check my account at Adbrite and was shocked to find that several of the ad campaigns had somehow been turned back on and they placed $100's of dollars of charges on my credit card during the past 4 months. To keep the most recent charges from being added to my credit card, I canceled my card and I filed a claim to my credit card company against Adbrite.
I asked the credit card customer service person to run a search in google for adbrite + fraud and she saw (like me) that there are tons of posts on the Internet about ClickFraud at Adbrite.
The customer service representative from my credit card company decided to open an investigation of Fraud against Adbrite. And after investigating, my credit card company refunded all of my money, going back 6 months!
