Sears Complaint - Save Your Time And Nerves, Drive To Burlington Instead
ANCASTER -- A word of advice to Hamilton-Burlington area shoppers. Don't go to Ancaster store, go to Burlington instead. I live in Ancaster and have tried shopping in Meadowlands Home store numerous times over the past year and half and there are always only 4 people working on the entire furniture floor and you simply cannot get help. They also have this attitude like you're bothering them and why can't you see that they're busy and why can't you wait. Go to Burlington instead. They are properly staffed there with about double the number of people and actually appreciate my business.
I tried complaining to the Ancaster store manager twice. I have no idea how they let him run a store this way, but he displays the same easy-street, spoiled attitude as hius furniture staff. I'll drive to Mississauga if I have to, but Ancaster is not getting a dime of my business ever again and I am telling the same to everyone I know. Not surprisingly, many whom I tell this immediately respond that they've always experienced the same.
The Ancaster manager should go for coffee with the Burlington manager and ask him how much Ancaster business has been flowing his way in the past couple of years. Maybe then he'll wake up. I doubt it though.
Appliances, on the other hand, the Ancaster people are much more knowledgeable and friendly, even more so than Limeridge.
