Newburyprot Five Cents Savings Bank Complaint - Online Banking, Customer Service

Review by chuck495 on 2008-09-18
NEWBURYPORT, MASSACHUSETTS -- I have contacted Newburyport Five Cents Savings Bank on their poor online services several times.

1. one problem was when their online services decided to use stronger passwords. instead of notifying their customers of the changes, the online services just locked the account. I found out it was locked when I got home from work Friday night. In order to unlock the account, I had to wait for business hours on Monday to call and unlock the account.

2. Another time I notified their online services downloads were faulty. They Quickly accused my computer of having the problem. A week later, after lots of customers complained of receiving faulty downloads, they took the time to look and fix the faulty downloads.

3. Now the Newburyport Five Cents Savings Bank online services thinks that it is OK to block my account sign in with faulty adds. I cannot get to my account without reading and answering question about the adds. The adds are faulty because when you click the check box 'do not ask me again' it asks every single time I log in.

4. I have Emailed the Bank with my concerns, and now I also receive those same adds in my email as well as when I log in.
