Walgreens Informative - Treated without respect by the staff of Walgreens pharmacy
ALBUQUERQWUE, NEW MEXICO -- September 2, 2008 Tuesday
To Walgreens management,
2105 Central av sw Albuquerque, New Mexico
Today I is was treated without respect by the staff of your pharmacy.
I turned in my prescription to be filled and stated I would wait. The person behind the counter said it would be 30 minutes. I was experiencing pain and needed the meds.
While I waited in the waiting area in plain sight of the person working the pick up counter, the head pharmacist came out twice to practice family medicine without a liscenes. She consulted with what appeared to be her family member on drugs for pain in the waiting area. She also consulted on a young boys wrapped injury by unwrapping it and having an extented consulation in the waiting area.
I notice that it was approaching a hours wait and that all the persons who had come in behind me and waited for their prescriptions to be filled, had their names called and received their meds. In fact the counter person asked some peoples last names and checked on their meds. I was not extented this service.
After all the people in the waiting area received their meds, I asked at the counter why I had not been called after my meds had been placed in the outgoing bin at the counter.. The head pharmacist passed twice behind the young woman who was trying to explain the lack of consideration away by saying maybe I had left for a while (which was not the case). I know head pharmacist could hear what we were talking about, but she put up the blinders and would not listen to my concern.
It was as if I did not even exist.
