Target Complaint - Really, Target?
VIRGINIA BEACH, VIRGINIA -- Like most people, I prefer my lips to be soft and smooth. An excellent product for that purpose is simple petroleum jelly.
Now, I don't favor dipping my finger into the jar several times a day. It occurred to me that petroleum jelly is also sold in 'tube' form, for easy application, and I needed to get some.
Already in my local Target store to fill a prescription (love the pharmacy, by the way), I perused the 'lip' product aisle.
First I found a name brand product for $.89, then I found Target's similar product, 2 for $.99.
Excellent ! In the car on my way home, I opened up the package and applied. Something didn't seem right. I looked at the package and it was supposed to contain petroleum jelly, and fragrance.
OK, I don't need the fragrance, but this one was definitely strange. We're not talking the typical cherry, or mint here.
I wasn't sure, so I asked several people to smell the tube. The scent is BABY POWDER !
I can think of several places it's ok to put baby powder scented stuff on, my lips is not one of them.
Target, please consider changing the scent. I don't want to think about changing diapers every time I take care of my lips.
Thanks everyone for listening!
