Verizon Informative - Bundled Services (TV, Network, Telephone)
We were excited to "bundle" our TV, network and telephone services with Verizon. Service has been good to date. However, I received a recent bill that sent shock waves through my checkbook! My latest bill was $260.52! Small businesses have this type of bill, not a resident. After several unsuccessful calls to the number listed on the Verizon bill, I finally was able to reach a "representative" who told me no international calls were included in the "bundle package" - although the sales representative who sold us this package said it was so.
In speaking with the representative, we could NOT resolve the high total of the current bill, even without the (1) international call. She said the "Total Taxes of $37.70 would apply to the international call". This cannot be so - I pay high taxes every month on the bundle service with NO international calls. No satisfaction, no resolution with Verizon.
Now I must find another service. I can skip the TV (cable is just reruns of old shows with commercials), get a cell to accept calls and go to another service for the web.
Does Verizon care if I leave their service? NO!
