McDonald's Corporation Complaint - Don't Even Think About Getting Ice Cream
I'm not sure why a huge corporation like McDonald's can't seem to buy quality ice cream machines that won't break down all the time, or for that matter put more than one machine in each store, so you'll have a backup. A year or so ago, some friends and myself started keeping a running list of the times we were told the ice cream machine was either being cleaned or was broken. Once we got to 80 something times and approx. 27 different locations we each emailed customer service to see what the problem was. Neither of us got a reply. So, we continued emailing and never got more than a form letter stating that they were sorry, but they would notify the manager at the location.
Never mind they didn't have a list of the locations. I guess one of our main complaints is that this has never happened at other places and McDonald's obviously doesn't care because they won't even address that there is a problem. They continue to advertise ice cream, you get in line in hopes of getting it and then are told the machine is being cleaned. Doesn't make sense, especially during peak hours.
If they would even take the small step of putting a sign on the door or somewhere saying there is no ice cream at least customers wouldn't have to wait in line and could go elsewhere.
