Best Buy Informative - Best Buy Fails To Honor Warranty In A Timely Fashion
WESTBURY, NEW YORK -- My family purchased an e machine a year ago - September 2007. On August 13, 2008, I brought the computer back to Best Buy - at Westbury, NY - it had failed to power on at all. It is now seven weeks later- and I still do not have my computer!! I have an extended warranty - and the customer representative at the online service section keeps saying that it's "in repair"- but I get NO date as to a return for my computer. At one point, after about three weeks, my computer had come back- "fixed"- but it had not been fixed at all- it did not power on! So, my family has no computer, and Bestbuy is not acting like a decent business- it does not tell me when I can have my computer back, fixed, or when I can get a new one- as per the warranty, which I paid extra for.
I would ask the public NOT to shop at Best Buy, because, in my opinion, it is NOT a consumer friendly place to shop and spend any money!
