Acure of Baton Rouge Complaint - Used with undisclosed collision history

BATON ROUGE, LOUISIANA -- I purchase an Acura MDX Touring vehicle from Acura of Baton in September. We looked at one online from where I live, about an hour away. Called the dealership and told them we were coming to look at the one on the internet, and drove to Baton Rouge. When we got there, the salesman steered us to the one next to it stating that it was in "much better condition". We drove the vehicle and looked it over, and went in to talk terms. He said that it could not be a certified pro-owned vehicle because the tires were up to the standard thickness, and a few other minor things that would amout to about $1200.00. We asked him if the car had ever been wrecked and we were told NO. I went to another dealership today, to see about a trade-in and after checking out the car, I was told that my car was worth $3000.00 dollars less because it had been wrecked in 2006. I feel that this is fraud and that I was lied to. I went to the person and confronted him about it, and all he could say was "sorry it didn't work out the way you wanted it to. I will never purchase a vehicle from them again, and will discourage anyone else from doing so. Do I have any recourse?

Did you buy the car "as-is"? If so, that's a legal acknowledgement that you won't hold the seller responsible for defects/damage in the car. If you have it in writing that the seller said there was no prior collision history with the car, it's a different matter.
