T-Mobile Complaint - Cancellation Fee - Service
NORFOLK, VIRGINIA -- I had service with SunCom for many years. SunCom was bought out by T-Mobile this year. I decided at that point I did not want to be a customer of T-Mobile due to all the horror stories I have heard about them. I decided to go with AT&T and now T-Mobile is trying to charge me a $250.00 cancellation fee on some contract that I never had with them.
Worse yet, they are debited my son's checking account and he is not even on the contract. He was only an authorized user but not responsible in anyway for the contract. My contract was with SunCom who is no longer in business. There should be a law that protect people from merger mania. We should have to agree to continue our service with the new company or be allowed to move companies.
We did not have a say so in who bought them so why are we liable. I will never do business like that with any company. But I will get satisfaction because my son can call his bank and have the charge reversed because he never had a contract with them and that is illegal for them to debit just anyones account to recover what they want to charge. Good luck to anyone that chooses this company, I never will.
