Open Road Honda Complaint - Greediness

EDISON, NEW JERSEY -- I purchased a pre-owned car from Open Road Honda on July 17th, 2008. After driving it for a week it turned out to be faulty and brought it back to Open Road Honda. Transmission and clutch had to be replaced. After a day of driving, the engine warning light came ON and could not be fixed. By now the car had been brought back three times. When I offered to return the car as being lemon, I was offered $5,500 less than what I had paid for three weeks ago plus I must purchase of new Honda at list price. This is nothing but greed. The management turned out to be very rude and just did not want to talk to me. I also noticed that in the past when I take my other Honda for oil change, they always suggested extra work such as wheels requiring alignment or brake fluid needed replacement, which were never needed as I had double checked with a Princeton dealer.

Open Road Honda is the greediest dealer that I have ever dealt with, and will avoid them like plague in the future.

How old was this car? Did you have anyone check it out before you bought it? Did it come with any type of warranty or was it an "as-is" purchase? The lemon law only applies to new cars, not used cars. More details on what you purchased are needed.
