Sears Informative - The Water Dispenser Also Washes Your Shoes!
After one month I am ready to call Sears and have this refrigerator hauled away! The refrigerator & freezer seem to work just fine, but it is almost impossible to use the water or ice dispenser without getting the floor wet. It takes such great finesse and patience to pull and angle the glass correctly so the crushed ice doesn't shoot over the top, and to pull it away slowly so the the paddle (built as a launch ramp) does not send the ice all over the floor. The paddles you push to activate the water & ice dispensers are huge and already hang over the edge. When you pull your glass away, it has to be tilted just so to get the last drips of water still coming from the dispenser. I am always mopping the floor & am quite sure my wood floor will be ruined in no time.
I have two young children - yes it is doomed! If it were not for this fatal flaw, I would give this refrigerator a good review. Guess I could switch to serving my kids soda from cans or bottled water to save my floor!
