BabyAge.com Complaint - Charged my credit card and never sent word or product

WEST HARTFORD, CONNECTICUT -- I would not recommend dealing with this merchant. Reputable merchants don't bill my credit card until the merchandise is in stock. BabyAge took my money on 6/11, promised a 1-2 day shipping schedule, and then didn't contacted me again. I was embarrassed to learn from my friend that she hadn't "seen" my gift. When I called BabyAge on 8/20 I was told it was back-ordered and would soon go out (that's when they sent their only email).

On 9/30 I was again told my order was about to ship. The business policies of this company are abominable. BabyAge's practice of using customer money and keeping the customer in the dark should be illegal.

They should have at least notified you of the backorder.Hang in there,they might get it to you before Christmas.
