Sears Informative - Overpriced Dishwasher Takes 6 Hours To Almost Dry Dishes
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA -- I bought a top of the line dishwasher and paid over $1500 for it. The installer, who was paid $210 to install told me it would cost an additional $264 for parts for the installation. Those parts at Home Depot cost less than $50.
The drying cycle takes over 6 hours to completely shut off and there is still dampness and water spots inside the dishwasher.
I complained as soon as I ran the first load of dishes. The installer had not signed off on the job yet and Sears service said I had to go back to the installer. The installer said I had to call Sears service.
Then I had business and vacation trips planned, so I put off scheduling another service call.
The service guy said everything was working properly, and I have to live with it.
This is a big rip-off.
