Lowe's Complaint - Pella Windows Order Blunder
FRAMINGHAM, MASSACHUSETTS -- Our general contractor has had nothing but stories from Lowe's on the delivery of 13 new construction windows. We were told that the two-week delayed delivery was due to the grills being constructed. There were two claimed delivery attempts, though we never saw them. On the third "attempt" the windows arrived unannounced with no one home. There were no grills, and one window was damaged. Lowe's told us first, that there were no grills ordered. When we produced the paperwork, they then claimed the delivery truck lost them and they had to be reordered. Now three weeks later, the replacement window has arrived, but we have to pick it up or pay another delivery charge.
There is no word on when the grills will arrive, and who will install them. It will be a long time, if ever, we shop Lowe's again -- never a straight story, and no concern or apology. Poor, poor customer service.
