Nimnicht Cadillac Complaint - Don't Damage Your Car... Let Nimnicht Cadillac Service Department Do It For You!!

Review by katjax36 on 2008-10-08
JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA -- We took my 2004 Cadillac CTS and left it over the weekend to have a few minor repairs like the horn quit working and the cigarette ligter quit working. Minor repairs... No big deal right? My car would be fine left at the dealership for a couple of days, right? Wrong!! I picked up my car at half past 7 in the morning, drove to work, upon parking and walking away from my much missed cute little car , turned to look at it when I noticed the front right black rubber piece under my bumper was all bent under my car, like something was run over or something. It was also covered in a sandy gritty substance, I'm guessing whatever was run over.

So... No big deal, I would take it back and they'd give me an apology maybe a free oil change for the inconvenience- something like that. It rained all afternoon washing off the grit and when I got there was basically told that I must have parked too close to a curb, that it couldn't have happened there because they don't have any curbs on the property---hello!!! It's a car dealership, I stopped counting huge curbs at 4 as I left the place. I can't prove my case but what really made me angry was being treated like I was a liar and oh, by the way, my lighter still doesn't work.

I will drive 180 miles to proctor Cadillac in Tallahassee before I ever take either one of our two Cadillacs to Nimnicht Cadillac ever again!!!

You have no curbs on your property? But you drive the car, right? Places with curbs?

You should have inspected the car before leaving the service dept. because otherwise it's your word against theirs.
