Key Bank USA Complaint - Egregious theft by overdraft fees/complain and KeyBank closes my account
COLORADO -- I have never ever in my entire life been so thoroughly disgusted with any bank until KeyBank. I've only had my account for a short time and I have encountered the most outrageous behavior. KeyBank has more than 11 pages of small print policies. If they can't charge overdraft fees for one or 12 reasons, they put in every possible road block so that there is no way you can make any, and I mean any, transaction without KeyBank posting a $36 overdraft fee. I'm currently disputing three, that are so outrageous. Colorado and Cleveland KeyBank staff, management, and their own executive client relations department states they care about their customers, but, DON'T BE FOOLED!
KeyBank is out for KeyBank and no one else. KeyBank makes billions a year on fees alone. Their management down to staff make their living on taking as much of your money as they possibly can. When I complained this morning, after insisting that the three $36 fees that have been posted are totally outrageous... after being put on hold, etc. I get an executive client relations gal who comes back on the phone and abruptly tells me that they have sent out a letter to me stating that KeyBank is closing my account and I have until Nov. 14 to close it myself or withdraw my money and that is it.
KeyBank states they care about their customers, THEY DO NOT!. I'm sending a copy of this to the KeyBank President of the Rocky Mountain Region in Cleveland. I'm disgusted with KeyBank!!!!
