CompUSA - Tampa Bay Stores Informative - Poor Customer Relations

CLEARWATER, FLORIDA -- I tried to purchase a Transcend 8GB Jetflash USB Flash Drive today. The latest CompUSA email sale offered one for $17.99 instead of $29.99. I had the option of buying it from their website which would require a $6.99 S&H fee and 3-6 day delivery time or purchase one locally. I went to the Tampa, FL store and was told only the Brandon & Clearwater stores had them. I went to the Clearwater store and was told that an employee had just purchased the last one a few minutes ago. I'm not a marketing school graduate, but I figure this is not the best way to build a customer base. Interestingly enough when I went to the company website to complain I could only find a link for complimentary testimonials.

Since my comments don't quite fit there and they apparently don't want to know how to improve; I sought your website out as an alternative.

I thought all of CompUSA had closed. Theres a similar brand model that sells for $13.99 at Directron.com. Get it while its hot!

The price of flash drives are getting cheaper and I'm waiting for the 16GB drives to drop below $40.00. I need this 16GB storage space to back up my customers data.

CompUSA is gone from Little Rock, AR. GOOD RIDANCE! I do hope they have moved to HELL! They still owe me $500 in rebates on two laptops from three years ago. After many inquiries, their excuse was that "someone else" handled their rebate program. Their employees in Little Rock were rude, incompetent and dumb. Curses on all of their management and stockholders.

CompUSA still has 23 active stores located in Florida, North Carolina, Texas,Illinois and Puerto Rico. They are also affiliated with Tigerdirect.com.
