Review Of Direct TV & Dish Network Informative - Who To Pick DirectTV Or DishNetwork?

Review by rad1224 on 2008-10-12
PENNSYLVANIA -- This review is based on having both Direct TV and Dish network. Dish has much better equipment such as their DVR 622 or 722 compared to Direct HR21 HD DVR. The only thing Direct has on Dish is NFL Sunday ticket. Dish HD DVR has proven to be a much more reliable HD DVR, just ask Direct TV representative for yourself as I did. I called Direct and ask of recording issues and HD local HD content problems the representative from Direct admitted the problems and told me 2 of the three major problems were fixed. Direct TV's HD DVR is much more complicated to run than Dish 722 HD DVR.

Dish has a slightly better picture quality over Direct, and their HD DVR will record all of your planed recordings unlike that of Direct. Yes Directs hr21 has many bugs.

More good reasons to stick with HDTV cable. HDTV cable: no sleazy sneaky contracts, superior HD digital signal, no junk on your roof and free HDTV. (VH info)

THANKS ALOT EVERYONE.
I DID GET THE SITUATION UNDER CONTROL
IT TOOK 2 LETTERS TO CEO OF THE COMPANY.
THEY CAME BACK RIPPED OFF THE POOR WORK & WENT AHEAD WITH A (HOPEFULLY) CORRECTED INSTALL.
SO THIS PROVES TO ME THAT CERTAIN TECHS ARE ACCOUNTABLE.
