Sprint Complaint - Horrible Reception, Billing is a Nightmare!
CARBONDALE, ILLINOIS -- My boyfriend and I have been loyal U.S. Cellular customers for years. When we moved 5 hours away to school, we decided to switch to Sprint because they had corporate stores in and around our town. The closest U.S. Cellular store is an hour away. We felt comfort in having a store close in case anything went wrong with our phones. Everyone I talked to said that Sprint was good. I found out otherwise!
To make a long story short, the reception we get is absolutely terrible. In our apartment, we have to stand with our ears up to a window just to have a conversation in which most of the time the signal fades and the call is lost. It saddens me that I cannot have a conversation with my family back home without being cut off every 5 minutes. We barely get one bar of reception in our apartment if we are not roaming.
Honestly, who roams in their own home?We live in a regular house, not in a dungeon! Every month that we've gotten a bill, I have had to call customer service to question the outrageous roaming charges. They do take them off when I call, but sure enough they are back the next month. This has become a hassle and a very big inconvenience having to worry about this!!
Oh how I miss U.S. Cellular, but do not have the hundreds of dollars to cancel my contract to switch back!
