Churches Chicken Lancaster CA Complaint - Failure To Return Credit Card

Review by Mt. T. on 2008-10-13
LANCASTER, CALIFORNIA -- Customer left their credit card because the clerk did not hand the card back to my friend. I tried calling twice and no response except a fax tone after about 10 rings and the phone went back to dial tone.

Churches chicken you will be sued if there are any charges on my friends card.

I would hope your friend is willing to accept 50% responsibility for this incident...it takes two to forget about a card.

How about you friend just cancel the card and get a new one? If there are charges, they can be disputed. Seems a lot easier than paying for a lawyer on a lawsuit you would probably not win.

tell your friend to grow a pair and go down to the store location and get their card back.Or like ben There said, cancel it and get a new one.

why didn't your friend ask for their card back? I agree it takes two to forget to take back your card.

Why isn't your friend writing this letter?

Sorry, you need to find smarter friends. They are just plain stupid.
Your "friend" is totally responsible for this.

Why would you even give your friend your credit card? How do you know your friend REALLY left it there? Hmmmmm????? How do you know your friend didn't go on a shopping spree with it and will leave the blame on Church's Chicken?
Did he use the drive up window (never give a card at a drive up window, credit cards should never leave your sight...or in this case your friend's sight). If your friend gave it at the counter, he should have gotten it back because if he didn't he is not showing responsibility. Yes, people do forget now and then, but this was someone Else's credit card and he should have been more responsible.

DB, think you misread. The poster said it was his friends's card that was left. I agree with the others though. When I use a credit card I make sure it's back in the billfold before I leave the checkout. And also--why isn't the 'friend' writing this complaint?

Friends don't let friends charge drunk.

How does someone 'forget' to get their credit card back?

C2O may be on to something here...'cause one would have to be seriously distracted to let that happen, for one reason or another.
Posted by Ben There on 2008-10-13:
hehehe C2O... Back in my day all us drunks and stoners had to walk 10 miles in the snow to the ATM for some cash, cause none of the fast food places took credit cards yet.

Ben There, was it uphill both ways, too? LOL

You are obviously calling a FAX or modem number and no matter how many times you call it, it is still going to be FAX/modem number.
