Hanna Andersson Informative - Children's Clothing With 500% Our Legal Limit Of Formaldehyde, A Carcinogen!
ONLINE -- I have several times called this company to try to determine which country their "imported" clothing comes from, before ordering for my grandson. Nobody in customer service seems to have this information. They did verify many of their clothes come from China. I asked if they were aware that children's clothing from China contains 500% our legal limit of formaldehyde, a carcinogen, and requires 5 to 7 washings before they are safe to put against a child's skin. I was told the information would be relayed to the appropriate department. As with all the toxic junk coming into this country from China, the bottom line is "profits before people" and vulgar profits at that. [As an aside, did you know that Ralph Lauren shirt you paid $80 for cost $3 to make, using 35-cent-an-hour labor?) We should all buy products made in the USA if we want to restore our economy to health and deprive those $12.8 million per year CEOs from outsourcing all the American jobs.
Boycott Hanna Andersson with their outrageous clothing prices (and therefore, profits) until they publish health-related information on their site to help mothers avoid poisoning their children's health with toxic clothing from China.
