Dominoes Pizza Complaint - Failure To Deliver On Time

Review by hillbillylady on 2008-10-15
RATHDRUM, IDAHO -- After ordering on line from the local Dominoes, my computer showed that delivery (45 minutes after order was placed) had been made. I called the store and was told, after waiting all that time for dinner, my order was just getting ready to go out the door. I cancelled the order, and then the manager asked me if I still wanted my order.

What part of the "30 minute" delivery don't they understand? I drove by the store 5 minutes later and there were 4 delivery vehicles parked in the lot and only 1 customer in the store.

So you live less than 5 minutes away but you wanted it delivered?? Oh brother.

They don't guarantee the 30 minutes anymore, from my understanding, and haven't for years.

It appears you don't understand "thirty minute delivery". That's the delivery - it says nothing about how long it takes the to make and bake the pizza, just that once it's out the door you will have it within 30 minutes.

I'm with "The Judge" on this one! Oh brother!

I thought Dominoes stopped their 30 minute delivery guarantee because there were too many accidents with their delivery people who were a bit careless getting through traffic to get the pizza delivered. I know that was stopped here.

If I were deliverying pizza...they better give me at least two hours to deliver...I need and hour and 45 minutes of "lost time" to find the dang houses!

Basher -- Delivering pizza's is easy money... Paid for my bad habits in college. You should look into it. The twins alone would pull in 100 bucks a night.

But don't understand...95% of the time I leave my house, I get lost!

Yall...Basher's internal GPS has always been on the fritz. She would lose her ass if it wasn't attached to her. LOL!!

I can't disagree with you on that one Ejack...I mean, when you're right, you're right!

Like I said, I always remember when I "tried" to help a blind man and directed him in the wrong direction and he somehow knew it and got himself turned around and found his own way to where he was going...I never lived that one down. My Mom was with me and she always reminds me, "You got that poor blind my lost and he had to find his own way"...and he really was blind, white cane an all...

Dominoes? Wouldn't you rather spread some sauce on a piece of cardboard? It costs less, and tastes the same
