Applebees Complaint - Terrible Service
YONKERS, NEW YORK -- Dear Lloyd L Hill,
As a frequent user of your company, I feel obligated to share with you my experience.
We were not given a children’s menu (we had one child with us).
Our waitress took our order at 9:05pm. We observed her sitting and socializing in the waiting area of the restaurant. After waiting 35 minutes for a simple order (hamburger, salad, fajita) and not being told where or when our order might be ready, we asked for a manager.
Cazzie White (night manager) came to our table. We told him how long we were waiting and that the waitress had not been back to the table to let us know about our order. Cazzie said he would look into it. Not at any time did he offer explanation nor apology.
After ten minutes, our order came out, obviously lukewarm from having sat under warming lights.
Our waitress did not make an appearance until we requested our check. She then proceeded to take 15 minutes to bring it to us.
Needless to say, our experience at Applebee’s was terrible. All that was needed was a word from our waitress that our food was delayed for whatever reason. Instead we got treated terribly, even from the management, who could easily have corrected this situation.
I have always enjoyed my experience at your restaurant. At the very least I would like a response from your company regarding this incident.
