Brookstone, Inc Complaint - Poor Quality And Service
NEW YORK, NEW YORK -- I purchased a Brookstone My Life 10" Digital Picture Frame (Model AH1812-B) at a Brookstone store and it failed to work after about 6 months of minimal usage.
The product has a 1-year warranty, which Brookstone will only honor with the original receipt, even if you have the credit card statement to prove you purchased it.
I have two problems with this item/store policy:
1) I have researched this product and there have been numerous complaints that the product did not work after a short period of time.
2) If a credit card statement is not valid proof of purchase, then I believe the store policy should be to inform customers at the time of purchase.
Brookstone's website makes the following statement: "From the beginning, quality of product, quality of service, and quality of people have been a hallmark of Brookstone." In my experience, Brookstone has demonstrated a lack of quality of product and a lack of quality of service.
