M.A.A.C.S Complaint - Extremely poor customer service and product quality.
Being on IA with the army I was recently issued ACU's. To make my uniform right, I recently purchased two U.S. Navy name tapes and two Chief rank patches from M.A.A.C.S. The U.S. Navy tapes were fine but, the rank patches "anchors" were terrible (see picture attached, left is theirs, right is correct). They were so out of regulation that they were useless for anything other than a demonstration as to why I wanted either a refund or replacement.
To be blunt, they were a joke. I took the time initially to try to help them get better and allow them the opportunity to make this right. I scanned the patch they made with a proper one and only asked that they replace the one they made with a correct and within regulations patch. No response from Helen (the customer service rep). I tried to call more than once but never got a person. I then wrote a second time to see what was going on and why she did not respond. Again, no response. This company should be put out in a bulletin DoD wide as their service and product quality are not acceptable.
Their products are ok at best, garbage in some cases and their service is so bad that its a waste to even try to talk to them. For my part I will work to make sure my sailors never patronize this company and I recommend that all personnel stay away from this fraud. To call themselves vets makes me sick. To this day they have never so much as raised a finger to correct the mistake or complete my order. They never delivered my IR flag either and its been almost a month. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!
