Heavenly Dental Complaint - Dentistry

GEORGIA -- I am filing this complaint because I am very frustrated about the situation at hand. I have been going to Heavenly Dental for about three years, but I never met the owner until this year, and that's because of the problems I have been experiencing. Heavenly Dental has several locations but under different names. The office I visited was in Jonesboro, Ga. I originally first went for a cleaning and I was told I had several cavities. I was then rescheduled to come back. The second visit he "filled" all of the cavities except for maybe two. I went back for the third visit and he supposedly was finished with them all.

After a couple of months, I was still feeling pain. I then returned to the same dentistry to find out that dentist was fired. Another dentist within the practice helped me and told me I needed fillings. BUT ON THE SAME TEETH!!!! She then “supposedly” fixed them. No one bothered to tell me the condition of my teeth, but they did notify me that a fee of about $19 was being sent to collections because I had failed to pay it. They said they sent me a bill, but I never received it. A couple of months later I wanted to get my teeth whitened. Another dentist was offering a special on this so I decided to go there.

To my horror, the dentist refused my service because of the condition of my teeth. He told me that I had holes in my teeth! Apparently, the first dentist drilled holes in my teeth and didn’t fill and seal the cavities. He gave me copies of my x-rays and told me to seek legal advice. I called Heavenly Dental and left several messages with no return call for weeks. I decided to pay them a visit and was surprised to find out they were no longer there. I then saw a second dentist for a second opinion. He agreed with the first dentist and suggested that I contact the business owner. After asking around I located one of her offices under a different name. I drove 1h30min and met with the owner, she did a root canal on one tooth.

She was very nice BUT, THERE ARE SEVERAL TEETH THAT NEED TO BE REPAIRED BECAUSE OF THE PREVIOUS WORK. I returned today, about two weeks after the root canal was done because I am still in pain. She told me that she was referring me to a specialist!! Who has the money or time for all of this?? I am a single parent, full time student and I work full time. I just want this nightmare to end…

I would consult a lawyer. If there's significant damage, it'll be expensive to repair, and you might be able to get them to pay for it.
