La-Z-Boy Incorporated Complaint - Very Poor Quality And Customer Service
WARREN, MICHIGAN -- We bought our sofa at Art Van in Aug 0f 2007. It was delivered on Aug 31. In Oct we had it sent back because the fabric was splitting. We Upgraded to a "Better" material. That sofa was delivered in Dec. 2007. Within a short time the nap changed and was shedding also cushions were sagging. I had 4 different service calls. I was told to brush it every day or vacuum it daily. Also I was told I shouldn't sit in the same spot each time. One of the men put more stuffing in it and that didn't fix the sagging. I sent tons of emails and a roll of pictures to Art Van and La-Z-Boy and that said it wasn't defective it was "Natural Wear". It's not even a year old and "They wouldn't want it in their homes".
They said they were sorry but they couldn't help me. Which is too bad because we have purchased all (LOTS) our furniture from them. Not any more if this is how we're treated.
