Travelocity Complaint - I Was Double Charged For My Flight
I booked a trip to Las Vegas through Travelocity for August 19, 2008. Yhe travel company made a spelling error on my first name for the air tickets. Traveling through the USA is impossible if you have a name that doesn't match you passport. I called customer service to get my ticket information updated and all I got was a hard time. They said that they took care of the issue, but when I received my credit card bill I noticed the customer service supervisor just billed be for a second ticket on the same day as well as charging me the full price for the arranged trip. So I was charged almost 1.5 times the actual cost of the trip.
I am very dissatisfied with the fact that the Travelocity company is denying any wrong doing. The travel ID number has also mysteriously disappeared from their records so getting a refund is almost impossible.
BE WARNED ALL THAT USE TRAVELOCITY, THEY DON"T LIKE GIVING SERVICE AFTER A MISTAKE IS MADE AND CERTAINLY LIKE THE CUSTOMER TO PAY FOR THEIR MISTAKES!!!
