Pepsi.com Complaint - New Packaging - Wild Cherry Pepsi

Review by little d on 2008-10-27
Have been a long time drinker of cherry Pepsi. Now they have changed to 8 packs, since this is all I drink it forces me to go to store more often and spend more. With the price of gas makes this even more prohibitive. I wish you could buy it in 6 pack bottles like other Pepsi products.

If you buy a pack now you get 8 containers instead of 6. So how does buying 8 in a pack make you go to the store more often than if you buy 6? You should actually be going to the store less.

Gas is actually cheaper now than it has been in months, and you are getting 2 more bottles than a 6 pack, so you are getting more Pepsi for less fuel costs. I am not following you.

the poster is referring to a 12 pack that has been reduced to be an 8 pack. if I understand, the price is about close to a 12 pack.

Ahhh, then liitl D, can save gas and time by buying two 8 packs.

that's scary, zz I was thinking the same thing.
All the manufacturers are "downsizing" product.
Mrs JKT started buying the 2 liter instead of the 12 packs because of the pricing. Giving up a little convenience.

Enjoy it while you can. OPEC just cut back on production.

I saw that. Got to admire 'em for their business sense.

While I can't say about the price comparisons here in a before and after scenario, I will say this, you should be able to figure out the logistics of how to avoid going to the store more often for pete's sake.

Drink water.

I have never heard of someone with a soda habit so bad that the fuel costs of driving to the store specifically for soda were impacting the pocket books.
