Lumber Liquidator Complaint - Poor Customer Service

Review by neeneeboo on 2008-10-27
LAUREL, MARYLAND -- I recently purchased Brazilian Teak flooring from lumber liquidator and the floors look wonderful. My problem is that the threads and risers for the steps do not match and they refuse to do anything about it. The wood flooring came with eight coats of polyurethane on them and the steps you had to apply two to three coats of the same. I tried to explain how different this looks to LL, but of course they did not care.

If anyone ever decides to do a class action lawsuit let me know. They truly don't care about the customer after they get your money. Buyer beware!

I was in the hardwood business for many yrs. First if you had done any research on LL you would have found literally thousands of unhappy horror stories. In their defense however transition pcs and stairs and risers are made by outside vendors no matter which store or brand you buy. They are meant to blend not match exactly the flooring. In most cases you would be unhappy no matter where they were purchased from. Its just a fact of flooring sorry to say.

Why wait for someone else to do the work? Get an attorney and start your own class action suit.

BTW, good answer, Dan. You provided information I wasn't aware of before.
