IHOP Compliment - Wonderful Experience
OLYMPIA, WASHINGTON -- Starlord and I ate at IHOP on Martin Way E, in Olympia, WA. tonight. Never having been there, I didn't know if there would be a problem with us having the dogs with us, but nothing was said, we weren't even asked if they were service dogs. We were sat at our requested booth almost immediately, and it took just a few minutes to get service, I'd say less than 5 minutes. They started our meal with chicken noodle soup for me and a garden salad for Starlord...the soup was out of this world, some of the best I have had out of a restaurant.
Starlord ordered a chicken fried beef steak that took up 3/4 of his plate, he brought over half of it home. I had the pot roast and it was melt in your mouth good! I've had good pot roast in my day but this was fabulous! No grease, the gravy was smooth and the whole meal got to us still hot!
The waitress we had was N****, I believe, and she was very polite and did her job well. She saw that we had what we needed, when we needed it and was very attentive to all her customers in her section. I'd have to say all the wait staff there was very professional from what I saw.
All in all, the meal was fabulous, the service superb and the IHOP experience was the first one that I truly enjoyed. The IHOP in Casa Grande, AZ was a waste of time and service was an after thought, food was always cold and service sucked!
We will go back to the one here without question.
