SuperShuttle Complaint - Super Shuttle, Super Disappointment!!
NEW YORK, NEW YORK -- I recently reserved SuperShuttle (w/ a credit card)in New York City to take me to LaGuardia Airport, & a return trip from JFK. My trip to LaGuardia was OK, but SuperShuttle NEVER showed up on the night of my return.
I was due back on 10/26, but plans changed and I called SuperShuttle to reschedule a pick-up from the airport on Saturday night, 10/25. After a flight delay of several hours, I arrived in JFK at 1:30am (Sunday morning). I called SuperShuttle and was told that a van would be by in a half hour.
Forty minutes later, I called SuperShuttle to inquire about the van, but they assured me a driver was on his way. I called two more times over the next 45 minutes, yet by 3:00am, there was still no van and no explanation for his not showing up or whether he would show up at all. I ended up paying $60 for a livery cab to take me home because by that time there were NO MORE YELLOW CABS AVAILABLE at the airport!
I'm taken aback and disgusted with the way I was treated as a customer by Super Shuttle. If there weren't any vans available, they should have been honest, letting me know so that I could take a yellow cab, and ultimately promising to refund my money. As a woman, it was quite scary for me coming home at 3:45am. I did not appreciate that.
Based on the numerous negative reviews I seen posted, I won't be calling on them again. And I'll make it a point to discourage anyone from utilizing them for a pick-up from an airport.
