Certified Mobile Tech (CMT) Compliment - Pedro Is A Professional Mechanic That Cares

Review by Conchita. on 2008-10-31
MIAMI, FLORIDA -- I called Pedro on a holiday and within a few hours he and his son had fixed my car. He was fast, neat and knowledgeable. My car is 10 years old, and he took the time to explain the problem and even how to handle some looming issues typical of older cars. He was a little more expensive than a garage, but he came to my home and handled the problem right away - which is worth something. He even followed up a few days later with a phone call - which I really appreciated.

I have recommended him others in full confidence and would call him again.

If Pedro ever wants to relocate, tell him there are lots of places on the foreclosure list in MI. We could use some honest, helpful mechanics here. They're few and far between.

My name is Thynna (thynna_n@yahoo.com) and Pedro has saved my life! I was on my way to a Christmas eve church service and my car, a Toyota corolla 2003-manual transmission, stopped in the middle of the road! The engine was still running, the battery seemed OK, the gas tank was full, the tires were almost brand new for the most part. I tried to put some gas but the wheels were just not turning at all and I kept hearing this very loud metal squeaky rubbing noise coming from the left tire I believe. The cops came, I called a tow truck and was on my way home, I didn't enjoy my Christmas eve (missed a great party that night) and I was 120 dollars short! (cost of towing on a holiday like that). I found Pedro's number online on 12/26/08 and he is the most incredible person and mechanic ever! He came by the same evening to do a diagnosis, was ready to do the job but the auto parts shop was closed, he is very very reliable. Please do yourself a favor, call Pedro! Excellent price!!!

21 April 2009: Our only family car spent the night broken down on Virginia Key. I found Pedro's info on the internet this morning and phoned him. His understanding of my problem and surprising grasp of a rather complex auto electrical connection assuaged my well-earned skepticism of Miami mechanics. Pedro picked me up at home off Brickell, drove me to my car, diagnosed and solved the problem (frozen gear- shift)within minutes. To top it off, he checked my tires & brakes, changed 2 lightbulbs, then billed me 20% less than his originally quoted price. Oh yes----- and he paid the bridge toll himself. On top of which he is a very nice guy, highly articulate, widely knowledgeable about all things automotive, totally tool-equipped, and clearly HONEST. Pedro is the poster child for the entrepreneurial, American small businessman. My poor Navigator has 145,000 miles, so I know I'll be seeing Pedro again. Probably quite soon. And you know, I'm almost looking forward to it. Thanks, Pedro!
