DirecTV Inc Informative - Frustrations
MARYLAND -- Problem: November 14th my subscription with DirectTV will expire and I am happy that I will not be renewing with them. The service is horrible and you are charged for things that are their fault.
In February of this year, I cancelled my subscription to NFL ticket and do not really look at my bills. This morning I went online to pay my bill only to notice the charge for NFL Ticket. When I complained about it, they told me that in my July bill I was notified that my subscription will auto renew. I asked them how can they auto renew something that was cancelled and was told I should have read my bill. I told them that I would be calling the Attorney General in my state and was told that they can only give me a two month credit. I really do believed that problems need to be reported as it appears that they get away with it and count on people who do not closely check their bills.
I also was charged $75 when they had to come out and fix equipment that they installed incorrectly in the first place. If you can avoid using DirectTV, please do so. It is not worth the aggravation and frustration.
