St John's Denture Clinic Informative - Undisclosed And Very Upset

Review by Breakpoint on 2008-11-01
Please beware that even though his work is good and they are very friendly it was not disclosed that they only work Tues-Thurs about 6 hours a day. When I started the procedure with them and the Dentist to have the rest of my teeth removed it was NOT ever disclosed that to get new dentures it could take many weeks. I have been without teeth for almost 3 weeks now and I am not sure when I receive them. I am a business owner and have been put in very uncomfortable positions without teeth. I have talked to others in the area and this is unusual. Most places are 1-4 days.

I just think it was very unprofessional and and deceiving by not disclosing this in the beginning. He most likely knows that most people will go elsewhere. Be aware or be willing to wait.

Oh, come on. You expect us to believe that you didn't know that it would take time to have dentures made? Did you really think you would walk into the dentist's office and walk out that same day with new choppers? I was working at a state prison when I got my dentures. First, the dentist pulled half my teeth, then when the gums were fairly healed, he pulled the other half, except for the front four to keep the shape of the face, and took the impressions. When the dentures arrived, he pulled the final four and put my plates in. I spent three weeks on liquid protein shakes. the day I got my dentures, I stopped and bought a bag of Doritos on my way to work, and nothing ever tasted so good. Quit your belly-aching. It takes time to get dentures. We aren't at the Star Trek level where they can zap a new set of teeth in place in minutes.
