GeekSquad Complaint - Very Poor Service
MELVILLE, NEW YORK -- I was unable to send or receive emails. I agreed to be charged $299 for in home service. The tech showed up on the scheduled day within the time promised. After about an hour he told me that I had exceed the 22 gig of emails that can be saved in various folders (including archive). He made some kind of adjustment & said I now had double the gig capacity.--Two days later the same problem came back---I called & was told that he would be back in two days between 8 & 12. He came back & literally spent almost 8 hours working on my computer. He finally said that he downloaded a new Microsoft Outlook program which had more gig capacity that I would ever need.
Three days later I had the problem again. In addition, I had problems with the keyboard, problems with other programs. It's only a matter of time that this company will go out of business, the sooner the better.
P.S. I found someone who fixed my computer for less than half what it cost me for The Geeks, who should be called "The Rip Offs".
